Athlete's high-performance mental training
Athlete's high-performance mental training - also known as mental training and psychological training - is a way to work on the mind and its interplay with the body. The goal of mental training is agreed upon together and the exact means are determined by the goal.
Zermatt coaches athletes in all sports and levels all you need is to be committed and goal-oriented, both in your sport and in your mental training. Coach Johanna Konttila has experience in bringing out the best in her clients, whether they are individual athletes and teams, business people, musicians and others. She has brought her high-performance mental training to wide range of sports, from active amateurs, weekend warriors and sports enthusiasts to professional athletes and high-achieving junior athletes.
Mental training benefits non-athletes too - for example students, those dealing with anxiety and performance challenges, artists and performers. If you feel you need support in the face of a major challenge or are struggling with a problem, mental training tools can help you.

“I’ve reflected several times on the advice I got during our work together. Especially in difficult moments, I have been able to remain calm and in good moments to spread positive energy around me. The same is needed in sport. The ability to overcome difficulties and reach flow.”

“I started mental training to get rid of overthinking and learn to deal with failures and disappointments better. Through coaching, I have learned to turn them into assets and am better able to let go of disappointments during performance and free time. I have also learned to balance sport and leisure better through coaching.”
